IBC – Ariadne panel presentation on broadband advertising and personalisation

Last week I had the pleasure of talking on an IBC Panel about ‘Personalisation in a broadband world – Advertising you want to watch’ I shared the stage with Joshua Winograd  of Adotube and Gideon Glboa of NDS. Terry Marsh was the chair and we had a lively debate about the developing landscape. I have attached my presentation as a PDF  - and IBC are going to release a podcast and I’ll add it here.

The main point I was trying to get across was that I am seeing far more interest and investment going into the IP targeted advertising optimisation model than the traditional ‘TV’ marketplace. I have even seen some sponsorship funded content marketplaces emerging which really changes the commissioning landscape.
